This is one of the comissions I've been working on over the past weeks. It's the cover to the third volume of I Luv Halloween, published by Tokyo Pop. I definitely had a blast on this one and kinda went wild with the color schemes.

Pencils: Benjamin Roman (sweet man, I definitely want to collaborate with him again)
Colors: me (Monk)

Software: Painter IX, dull conte. I used Photoshop for some fades and the silhouettes in the background.

Also, I LUV HALLOWEEN COPYRIGHT 2005 KEITH GIFFEN AND BENJAMIN ROMAN.

Ahhhh! SO worth the wait. My sister is a big fan so I have to show her this.

It tastes like Christmas!

the thing I like most about your colors is that they give such dimension to the artwork you are working on. It's another one of those things I'm working on since I find my pencils to always run flat. Your light sources really do the trick and it shows in all of your work.
I love monk......or at least his art work.......yeah the artwork thing sounds wayyyyyy less gay. Great work man looks el HOT
I admire very much your work dude.

Some lines are easier to erase than others.
Nice colors, and I LOVE that artist. You both collaborate nicely.

Fantastic! Really diggin the bright and gawdy colour scheme. The sky gives the whole piece an apocolyptic feel too.
